This document urges architecture firms to apply their spirit of innovation to the management of our practices, revising the ways we operate our businesses to respond to the demands of life.
iaWia studied issues of work-life balance through a series of events held in 2012 and 2013. A task force developed a set of best practice recommendations to support the development and implementation of policies that address work-life balance and career development challenges in order to enhance recruitment, retention and engagement of employees at all career stages. Recommendations are action-oriented, research-based and draw from our 2012 and 2013 events.
