Iowa Women in Architecture Featured in AIA Newsletter

Best Practice Recommendations for the Design Profession, a report created by  Iowa Women in Architecture to support the development and implementation of policies that address work-life balance and career development challenges was featured in the American Institute of Architect’s AIA KnowledgeNet thread on practice management.  Emma Tucker, an AIA Knowledge Communities Specialist, cited the Best Practices Communication section about maintaining a written employee handbook and noted that the entire document includes recommendations on policies that may prove useful for design firms.
